The purpose of the NEW (NorthEast Wisconsin) Donate Life Walk is to raise awareness for organ transplantation and donation, as well as to raise funds to support these efforts in an annual fun run/walk and silent auction.
Currently over 100,000 men, women and children are waiting for an organ transplant in the United States alone. Did you know - 95% of Americans support donation, but only 58% are registered!
The NEW Donate Life Walk Co-Chairs, with assistance from the Bay View Middle School service-minded students and area businesses, will be sponsoring the 13th annual walk/run and silent auction to raise money for Donate Life Wisconsin and to hopefully increase the number of registered donors in Wisconsin. Donate Life Wisconsin educates the public about organ, tissue and eye donation and
encourages everyone to register to be a donor!
